Auscultation often depends on the subjective judgment of the doctor and information
sharing is not easy. The newly developed seat type biosensor is characterized by its
flexibility and low power consumption. Since it is a high sensitivity sensor capable
of detecting slight vibration in the thickness direction, auscultation sensor was
created for the purpose of developing a device which can more appropriately record
heart murmur and heart sound. We examined whether this auscultation sensor is actually
usable, as shown in the Fig. 1. As a result, it was shown that heart sounds and heart
murmur can be appropriately recorded. By enabling objective evaluation of data, it
can be useful not only for daily clinical but also for education. In the future, we
aim to develop electronic stethoscope with diagnostic function.
