The patient was a 75 years old male who had been followed as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
by echocardiogram findings without inspection. In his echocardiogram findings, left
ventricular contraction had been gradually impaired with left ventricular septal wall
thinning. His inspection was done to examine the causes of these changes. According
to his examinations, he was diagnosed as cardiac sarcoidosis. He had been administered
predonisolone 30 mg/day for one month. After this course, his echocardiogram showed
left ventricular thrombus,24*17 mm. This structure was diminished after anticoagulant
therapy without complications. In our presentation, we will discuss about the pathologies
of left ventricular thrombus formation in cardiac sacoidosis after administration
of steroid. It is important to check left ventricular thrombus formation carefully
after administration of steroid for cardiac sarcoidosis with left ventricular dysfunction.
